Not sure what to say?

Dona, Randy & James:
We just learned of Ted's death & we are so shocked to hear that he has passed. We have always thought of you as family & along with us, Dawn & Angie are sending their sympathy to you too. With our love, Beverly & Bill.

The writer, Fitzgearld wrote: "The moving finger writes and having writ, moves on...". Using that analogy, the message Ted wrote wrote for me through our association will remain an indeligible message on my heart. The bond of friendship that we formed at Texas Tech will be everlasting.

I feel proud to have been chosen by Ted to be his friend. Two people could not have had more diverse backgrounds than Ted and I; yet, the threads of respect, love and honor transcended all of that. Over...

My heart and prayers go out to all the Stumm family and friends. Ted, you were a close and dear friend of my mother, whom she loved very much. It was a great honor and privilege knowing you. Thank you for tutoring me with statistics and for the spirited conversation on politics. (How about those Marlins!)

I really enjoyed working with Ted during my time with the Boy Scouts. He was always inspiration. Coffee shops were our favorite meeting spot. Ted will never be forgotten.

Our family was honored to be neighbors with "Mr. Ted". We know he will be missed terribly by his family. Mr. Ted's accomplishments were vast, noble and inspirational to so many, including our boy scout in the Shawnee District. So much to be proud of, a life to be celebrated.

To our good friend Ted: We'll miss you, buddy. Thanks for 17 years of friendship and guidance. Our time together sharing the office at Texas Tech and the two years at UNF were priceless. I'm sure you're in that great bass boat in the sky having a beer and yelling at the idiots on the jet skis! Thanks a million for your service to our country, your kindness and generosity. My condolences to the Stumm clan. Many kind regards.
