Not sure what to say?

Dear Susan,

Susan,

Ashley and I were deeply saddened to hear of Ted's passing. I still remember all the family dinners at Illa's house when I was young and I just loved talking and hanging around Teddy, Jerry, and Barry. They never treated me like a little cousin but showed interest in me as a person. Ashley and I express our deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences on your loss. Ted was a good friend and business associate for over 50 years. May good memories of Ted comfort you and your family.

My condolences to the family on your loss. I have known Ted for at least 50 years, both professionally and socially. He was a wonderful person and was always willing to be very helpful. I had been talking to him recently knowing about his serious condition and only in the last few weeks have not been able to contact him because I had been in the hospital, myself. I will truly miss my good friend as well as a professional associate. May fond memories comfort you and your family.

Ted's thoughtfulness, decency and wisdom provided much appreciated support, comfort and guidance. I greatly admired his character and talent. The gifts of Ted's legacy will continue to benefit generations.

Dear Susan,

Though it has been a very long time, I was deeply saddened when I learned of Ted's death. May good memories comfort you and your family.
