Not sure what to say?

Pastor Ted Zeile was a "bigger than life" kind of person. We shall long remember him & his service. What a great guy with a terrific sense of humor, along with his love of the Lutheran faith. God bless his memory & his family. He was gift to many for so long.

He was a wonderful, caring man and you could see the good in his eyes and smile, a true Man of God inside and out! I just thought of him the other day, he married me in 1978 and my Grandmother was a devote member of his congregation. He is missed and remembered.

My parents, Rev. Carl & Doris Schinnerer, were good friends with your parents years ago when my Dad was pastor at Holy Cross in Flushing. I was a young girl then but vividly remember your father and the wonderful man that he was. My sincere sympathy to your family. Praise God that your Dad is now safe at home with his Lord.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. I will always remember his smile, a permanent part of him. My wife, Joan, remembers fondly Eleanore's Irish Teapot.

RUTHERIC AND I ARE SENDING OUR CONDOLENCES. WE HOPE YOU WILL HAVE MANY HAPPY MEMORIES FOREVER.

THEODORE'S FATHER WAS MY PASTOR IN SAGINAW MICHIGAN, MY FAMILY MOVED TO FLINT, AND I WANTED TO GO TO ST. PAULS SCHOOL. BUT LIVED CLOSER TO REDEEMER LUTHERAN SCHOOL. I HAVE A DEEP RESPECT FOR THE ZEILE FAMILY, FOR THEIR GREAT COMPASSION, AND FAITHFULNESS. MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT COMFORT YOU ALL WITH THE PROMISE THAT WE WILL HAVE ETERNITY TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN.

My husband Frank and I always loved Pastor Zeile. He was a wonderful pastor at St. Paul Flint.

I attended St Paul Lutheran School grades 1-8 and Pastor confirmed me in 1954. Pastor made such an impact on my life when he came to visit my father when he was going through very troublesome times. He prayed with my family. He gave my father hope. At a young impressionable age this has stuck with me all of my life what he did for the family. I will never forget that day! God truly worked through Pastor. My condolences to the family. God be with you all!

dear ruth and family, when i heard of your father's passing, i thought about your mother, too...they were a great couple, and now they are together again and nevermore will have to say goodbye...i enjoyed them both, in lwml, at saint paul, the church and the school...my kids did, too...may God bless you with many beautiful memories of your life as a family...in Christ's love and peace, Kathy and Miller Schuck
