Theresa Marie Berberick, age 79, of Lewis Center, formerly of Athens, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born July 8, 1937 in Topeka, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Michael & Agnes Beitzinger Kamer.
A graduate of Hayden High School, she was formerly employed in the office of the Secretary of State of Kansas. She was a Doncaster Clothing sales representative and a homemaker in the family home. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Athens and enjoyed volunteering at the Church and with the O'Bleness Memorial Hospital Golf Tournament. She also enjoyed bridge and playing the piano.
Theresa is survived by a daughter, Julie Berberick of Lewis Center; three sons- Neil Berberick, David Berberick and Don (Brooke) Berberick all of Lewis Center; two grandchildren- Katherine Elizabeth Berberick and Adam Lawrence Berberick; three sisters- Dorothy (John) Zoellner of O'Fallon, MO, Mary Ann Lambrecht of Topeka, KS, Kathy (Don) Faught of Naples, FL; and a brother, Jim (Kristi) Kamer of Tampa, FL.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Neil "Larry" Berberick in 1999; and a brother, Michael Kamer, Jr.
A memorial Mass will be held Thursday, Jan. 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Athens, with Msgr. Patrick Gaughan as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 25th, from 6-8 p.m. at Jagers & Sons Funeral Home, Athens. Vigil for the Deceased will be held Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
