Theresa A. Brody

Terry Brody was my Gym and Volleyball coach at St.Josephs HS from 1971 to 1975. Her sister Deborah was my classmate. She loved her students, we were Volleyball State Champions. Her passion was the Appalachian community, she was dedicated to these people. My regrets that I did not stay in touch. May she keep resting in peace.

Ms. Brody was one of the teachers at Naz that impacted my experience the most. At first glance, she was a strict and loud disciplinarian. You tried to avoid attracting her gaze in the halls after school for fear of getting stuck in detention.
Once you were in her class; however, the relationship became a nurturing one. She still was tough, but she allowed you in a little bit, and it became clear how much she really cared about students. She became more than the character she played to the...

I am deeply saddened by this news. Ms. Brody was one of the most memorable teachers I've ever had. She legit made me memorize the periodic table and BOY did it help me pass the regents ! Lol. Her attitude and spirit made each class I took with her one to never forget. And I lived for brownie points .

Rest In Peace Ms. Brody, May your family find some solace during such a traumatic loss.

Ms Brody was an awesome teacher and person. She cared for all of the students at Nazareth. May you Rest In Peace!

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of your sister. miss Brody was my coach for basketball and softball from 1980-1984. I actually talk of her often, sorry I didn't stay in touch. May she rest in eternal peace.

I'm very sorry to hear this. When I first discovered Facebook I wrote to Mrs Brody to let her know how fond I was of her. I remember I written a story about a book I had to read and write a report on and she made me stand up in class to say how good of a job I did on the report. It made me feel so good and she was my favorite. I never received a reply from her I hope she got it to know how important that was to me.
