I REMEMBER HER AS BEING QUITE A STUNNING LADY AND PROPRIETOR OF "BILL BAILEY'S" THE GAY BAR ON BAY ST.IN STAPLETON IN THE LATE 70'S. SHE WAS A GOOD PERSON AND GAYS ON THE ISLAND BACK IN THE DAY WERE AFRAID TO GO OUT...OFTEN RIDDLED WITH SHAME,FEAR AND GUILT AND FEAR. THEY FELT SAFE IN HER BAR,AS THEY DID IN CLUB BRAZIL ON MILLS AVE.IN SOUTH BEACH (TUCKED AWAY ON A RESIDENTIAL STREET) IN A FAR LESS TOLERANT AND PROGRESIVE ERA.MAY SHE NOW REST IN PEACE !

so saddened to read about terrys passing.she was a wonderful woman and an icon to the gay community.so many of us grew up in her bar,bill baileys.shewill be missed,my condolences to her family. denise demyan.

We have many fond memories of Terry..Always with a smile on her face, she welcomed everyone to her home...There was never a dull moment when you were in Terry's company...Although it has been many years since seeing her, she will always been in our hearts...
