T. Marie Floyd was an amazing woman....mother, grandmother, educator, activist, mentor, friend and more. I am grateful for the part she and her family played in my life.

I really admired Ms T Marie Floyd. I was always willing to accept advice from her. I made it my business to speak to her everytime I saw her out of respect for my elders and the fact she would always have a smile and a greeting for you. Can't say that about everyone. Momma Floyd was a second mom to me, always in my corner from the moment Tanya and I met. A loving caring woman who always had a loving word and big hug for me. She will be physically missed but will always spiritually be in my heart. RIP Queen you have earned your rest
