Theresa Fails Lewis

Theresa Fails Lewis was born on January 12, 1956 to the late Lueberta Gordon Fails and Dennis Fails. She departed this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 26, 2017. She was a native and resident of Mobile, AL. She devoted her life to Christ at an early age and joined the Friendship Primitive Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until her untimely death. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lueberta Gordon Fails, her father, Dennis Fails, her brother, Lee Carl Fails, and her sister, Flora Mae Dungy.  

She leaves to cherish her memory three devoted children Demetrius (Ashla) Fails, Tameka Fails, and Leopohl Lewis, four brothers Dandy (Vivian) Williams, Tommie (Maxine) Williams, Dennis (Kathy) Fails, and Edward (Juandolyn) Fails, two sisters Nancy Davis and Irmide (Walter) Holland, four devoted grandchildren Davoris Thomas, Jayshaun Lewis, Demetrius Fails Jr., and Kaleb Fails, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Her remains can be viewed on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, 819 St. Stephens Road, Prichard, AL 36610, Rev. Robert J. Emanuel, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow the services at Gethsemane Cemetery North, 2850-2904 Shelton Beach Road, Prichard, AL 36613. Arrangements are entrusted to the careful direction of the Christian Benevolent Funeral Home Inc., 201 North Hamilton Street, Mobile, AL 36603.
