I am so sorry for your loss. I remember school lunches from the 70s and 80s fondly and was touched deeper than I would have thought possible from such a long ago memory. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Having grown up around the Shipley house hold, I have lot’s of fond memories. I called her “Ma” as did most of the kid’s in the neighborhood.
She saved me from her husband Herb (who I never got to call dad, lol) on more than one occasion. (Going out with her daughter Lisa was dangerous)
