Dear Cathy, Eileen, Maryrose, Harold, and Patrick, our deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. We met Mrs. Ahern many years ago when she stopped to visit. It was very clear what a kind, caring, generous soul she is. We wish you beautiful memories and peace. Stephanie B, and Whitney M.

Mrs. Ahern was my teacher aide at Millburn School for the Deaf. She was always firm but very kind; in this kind of work with Deaf children, one needs to be able to speak well and clearly and also use sign language when it became incorporated into the program. Her patience and compassion were two of her best traits, and she loved to talk to us - she was funny and interesting! I wish I had more to share but I will leave it here with fond memories of her generous heart. Fare thee well, Terry!

She was great aid teacher at millburn school of the deaf

My heart goes out to the family. It's a grievous loss, but I hope the family can also rejoice in the profoundly positive impact Mrs. Ahern had on generations of kids and community members. I was in the girl scouts when she integrated deaf kids into the troop. I still talk about the camping trip we all took together.
