These times of sadness remind me also of the wonders of life. The joy Therese leaves I see in the fine individuals in her family. This marvelous and varied group have enriched me and my family beyond words. I remember Therese for the sweetness with which she navigated the choas of our times. The Huerter family will always be in the hearts and minds of the Iwersens.

HELLO HUERTER FAMILY, THERE ARE NO WORDS TO FILL THE VOID BUT YOUR FAITH AND FAMILY ARE THERE TO DO THAT. I FEEL HONORED TO HAVE BEEN IN THE PRESENCE OF ST THERESE THIS SUMMER AND SEE THE DEDICATED FAMILY. DOC HUERTER, I ALWAYS USED YOU AND THERESE AS MY ROLE MODELS, THE GREAT MARRIAGE AND PERFECT COMMUNICATION. YOU TWO WERE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH A GLANCE AT EACH OTHER. REMEMBERING HOW YOU WALKED TO HOLY CROSS EVERY NIGHT FOR 7 PM MASS, I LOVED YOUR FAITH AND YOU BOTH SHARED WITH...

I am very sad to hear of Therese' death. You may not remember me, but I baby sat for you when I lived accross from you on Pine St. I lived with the Jameses and went to Mercy High. The baby sitting was such an easy task because of the very well behaved children--and I got paid for such an easy job!!
My memory of Therese is her pleasant personality and what a 'classy' lady she was
Therese and her family are in my prayers.

Dear Tim,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom. The stories you told about a very distracted at times, holy and good person will always stay with me. The world is a sadder place without the goodness of her soul. I know this will be hard for you and especially your dad, but the faith all of you have will carry you through. I'm sure your mom is dwelling with the Lord. She may even meet Bruce.
Please accept my condolences and let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your...

I did not get the opportunity to meet Mrs. Huerter but I have known Dr. Huerter all my life. And if she was anything like Dr. Huerter, she had to be a wonderful & caring person!! Dr. Huerter was my dentist forever. I started when I was 4 & continued into my 30's, until his retirement!! Even though his practice was for children & so called "young adults", he was so kind not to give me "the boot". He knew how afraid I was & told me to come when I brought my own children for check-ups. I...
