Dear Bob and Kathy,
The death of an elderly parent is such a paradox. On the one hand you feel the tremendous lost of one of the most important and influential people in your life and yet you are so pleased and happy for them. They no longer have to deal with the frailties of a mortal body. They get to go "home" to the waiting arms of loved ones and friends whom they have missed. What a great blessing and happy occasion for them!
