Not sure what to say?

I was listening to my 'Spurr of the Moment ' album tonight, and did a Google search, discovering that Theron passed away and went home to be with Jesus in 2008. I won the album in the early 1970s at a Theron Spurr revival, autographed by Theron. I had memorized the most Bible verses that week of all the youth group. Pretty exciting, but most exciting was my Mom answering an alter call and recommitting her life to Christ! Theron's revival that week changed our home and lives. My father...

Mr. Theron Spurr was the Preacher during the Revival at Paint Creek Church of the Brethren when I was a little girl. He changed my life!! I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior the last night of the revival. My Father Loved singing his songs & bought several of his records. I will forever be Thankful to Mr. Spurr & will be looking forward to meeting him in Heaven in God´s timing. God Bless his Family!!

On March 23, 1977, Theron Spurr preached at McKernan Baptist, Edmonton, AB, Canada. I got wonderfully saved. Thank you dear brother now with the Lord.

Theron was my home pastor as a teenager, at Gilead Baptist Church in Detroit. I appreciated his messages, his passion and his humor. I will never forget a line from a funeral message he gave when one of our members had been shot and killed during a robbery. He said, "As the gunman reached out his hand to take her life, Christ reached out His to take her home". It made a strong impact on me.

Theron spoke at my church in Sumter, SC, when I was a little girl. I always remembered him. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
