Was heartbroken to learn of Tom's passing...he was a true gentlemen and a friend to all who new him. I consider myself fortunate to have spent many hours with him during our youth. When I first met Tom he had a transistor radio in his hand listening to the New York Giants baseball game....he was a Giant fanatic and he could tell you everything that happened in the final 50 games of the 1951 miracle comeback season. He was an outstanding athlete excelling in baseball, basketball and golf. ...

Mr. Adams, Tom, was an inspiration to the entire St. Marks' community. When my son Christian Kelso attended school there, Mr. Adams' iconic style and enthusiasm made a tremendous impact. I am so grateful for his wondrous and impactful life.
