My father, T/Sgt Albert (Al) Donati was his Enlisted Aide. As a family, we followed Major General and Mrs. Aldrich from Lajes AB, Azores to Scott AFB and finally Travis AFB. A solid figure and many times, an excellent story teller of military travels to a young pre-teen to teenager at Vanden High School at Travis AFB. I had the honor of both he and Miss Ginny attending my High School Graduation in 1978. Thanks to both him and Mrs. Aldrich, met quite a few famous people who also stood out....

Tom was a neighbor of mine for several years before his passing. He was one of the most kind, generous and smart persons I have ever known. The world glows less now that he is not with us

Then I met Tom and knew him and Ginny (his angel) to be approachable, down to earth, kind, sensible, good humored. I had the pleasure of riding with Tom to several Presbytery meetings and found him a willing listener, a gentle...

Dear Aldrich Family,
I only knew Tom and Ginny in their latter years at Fremont Presbyterian Church, but knowing them brightened my days! I saw in Tom a wonderful follower of our Lord, Jesus Christ. And like Jesus, Tom was a humble man, who always spoke with authority, compassion, and conviction. I praise God for Tom (and Ginny) and the great privilege of knowing them.
