Not sure what to say?

To The Family and Friends,

Since our father's burial last year on this day, our family has received many acts of kindness from our family members, friends, and neighbors. We appreciate the time and thoughtfulness given by each of you. The emotional and financial support has helped us to move forward. We are very grateful to be surrounded by so many caring and generous people.

Thank you for all your love,
.

Today marks the one year anniversary that you moved on. I heard a Native American describe death in this way. There isn't a word for death in the language instead it is believed that death is another part of life. One becomes able to access the celestial energy. Now that would be neat to think of you living amoung the stars. With all the different beliefs its hard to know what to think. But I've often hoped that you've joined with Grandma Scott, Betty Lou, Grandma Bet and Momma Susie. ...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Thanks for giving of yourself so that we could benefit.

We appreciated your sacrifice and love.

Baby Brother,

Just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you and Butch.

As I sat in the church at your mother-in-law's "homegoing" service on yesterday, I thought about what fine men you two "rascals" turned out to be. You both are successful in your careers, you seem to be strong fathers and loving spouses.

Thirty some years ago, who would have thought that you two would have gained such status. You made some good choices. Keep...

Mrs. Alston and Family,

You are always in our prayers and thoughts as you find strength in the love and life that Mr. Alston has shared with you and with us.
He was indeed a GIFT and we are blessed to have him in our hearts.

Love,

Ms. Wy, Ms. Tonya, Ms. Goldson and our Pre-K kids who miss you as much as we do...

Yvonne,

I will truly miss Tom and I talking over a food cart in Giant Foods about politics. What a great person he was.

Our heartfelt sympathy,

Yvonne,

I just wanted to put into words what a wonderful boss and friend Tom was.

I guess Tom and I worked for Shell Oil Company in the same district for over 20 years together, but the 4 years that we spent working
as a team in Washington, D.C. were some of the best times of my career.

I was fresh out of college and new to life below the "Mason/Dixon Line" and had some tepidations. Tom immediately made me feel comfortable and made sure that the gas station Dealers...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!

Love Your Children,
.

Yvonne,

I was saddened to hear about Tom. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have known Tom were blessed. He was a good friend, husband, father, and role model. He was one of my favorite people at Shell Oil Company and I considered him to be a good friend.

There isn't anything I can say at this time of loss that hasn't already been said. I know that you and your family will move forward, as Tom would have wanted you to do, and be thankful for the time you had...
