Not sure what to say?

Dr. Amazon was the doctor for my three children. Brent is our oldest and was a patient of Dr Amazon´s starting in July 1972 when Brent was only 4 months old. After thank was Scott and Lindsey. For all those years he was the strength of my family that got us thru many illnesses. Brent last saw him when he got his last physical when he joined the Marines when he was 20 years Old. Dr. Amazon was an amazing man and he will be greatly missed.

A FB memory about Dr. Amason´s retirement brought me to his FB page, which brought me here. My heart is broken at the loss of this great man. In 1980, Dr. Amason, along with Dr. Register, sat with my parents when they all received devastating news that my sister had a brain tumor. I vividly recall so many times when the phone would ring and it would be one of the two of them, checking on our family. For years they both were in lockstep with my parents as they walked through surgeries,...

Tonight March 2024 Dr. AMASON CROSSED MY HEART. Dr. Amazon was an incredible doctor to my three sons now all close to 40. He was a friend too and always willing to listen. Discovering you've passed broke my heart. I pray Hod blesses you!

Thank you Tommy for all of the care you gave my children and seeing John until he was 21, and your gentle words that he needed to see a big boy doctor. We talk about this so often. So happy to have been able to know you!

I have just learned of the passing of Dr. Tommy. He was a great man and outstanding physician. I met he at Children´s hospital and then he became my children´s pediatrician. He was an angel to me as a dietitian and a mother. I am so sorry for your loss. Bonnie Spear

Tommy and I grew up together in Ozark and went to school together until he moved to Auburn in the 11th grade. He and Yates returned to Ozark for our 55th high school class reunion, He was the same as always. He will be missed but he is happily reunited with Yates. RIP friend!

The first time I met Dr. Tommy I was a nurse at children´s hospital and he also became my niece and nephews doctor. I thought he was so amazing that I didn´t think twice when I had my sons. He always made you not only feel like a friend but family. He was one of a kind as was Yates. God bless your family during such a monumental loss!

Sincere and deepest condolences, I worked for Dr.Tommy when his assistant was not available and was happy to do so,, he was so thankful, and didn't mind saying thank you. Caroline and Bert God bless you with the strength you need today and all your tomorrow's.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of our beloved pediatrician and friend. We were clueless as new parents and Dr. Tommy took great joy pointing us in the right direction. He spoke of Yates and his children often during our visits. We are so thankful to Dr. Harry Register, Dr Huie and Dr. Amason for caring for our children, and us as parents. We love Dr. Tommy. May his soul Rest In Peace , Amen.
