Not sure what to say?

Dear Jane,
I am so sorry I could not come to the service on Tuesday. I was in transit from Europe. Tom was one of my favorite musicians in the Chapel Hill Philharmonia. He will never be forgotten for his friendship, kind and generous spirit, leadership, and his devotion to music. I hope your family, pictures, and memories will help you heal and regain peace and happiness once again.
My deepest sympathies and understanding.
Rosalind Goodwin

Tom was one of the first attorneys I met when I began practicing bankruptcy law, and he always stood out as one of the finest. He will be missed. My deepest condolences.

Terri Gardner

I was fortunate to know Tom through both the bankruptcy and music worlds, and am saddened to hear of his passing. He was a true gentleman who brought light to everyone he met. Deepest condolences to his family.

Dear Jane and Family,
We are so sorry not to be there with you at the service for Tom. We share in the devastation and sadness of his death, and please know that we will be home soon to support you in any way we can. Tom was a good friend to Harriet in the Chapel Hill Philharmonia and he will be missed there enormously. He and Harriet were stand partners for years and it was always a pleasure for her to work together with him to learn the music and laugh (and commiserate) together over...

Dear Jane:I met Tom more than 30 years ago at a lawyer meeting. We ended up being in the same class for the American College of Bankruptcy. I have the induction picture on my office wall and see his smiling face. He was a fine man who has a large heart and a keen intellect. He was a pleasure to be with. My deepest condolences for you and your family's loss. May he rest in peace.

I knew Tom while he was a lawyer in Dallas. He was a great friend and a professional in every sense of the word. I will miss him.

Tom will be greatly missed. A real loss to the bankruptcy community. My sincere condolences to his entire family.

I used to see Tom at occasional violin lessons in Raleigh and he came to a student recital I played at. He was extremely encouraging to me before and after the recital. I was touched by his positive words and support-- they continue to give me confidence when I play for others. I'm sure he must have touched so many people in the same way and I'm glad to have known him briefly.

Jane, you have been so faithful and you'll treasure those memories of staying by his side. Know your church family is praying for you and we are here for you whatever your needs may be. What a marvelous witness you have been! We know the Lord will continue to uphold you and guide you. Jan and Allen Barwick
