Not sure what to say?

I first had Tommy cut my hair 38 years ago when I worked for McDermott He has cut it ever since and has also been a dear friend May the good Lord welcome Tommy with open arms.

Tommy and Doyle hired me at the Clip Joint in 1977, I was barely 18 yrs old. I grew up there with them for 10 years with those two characters! Our clientele were the cream of the crop of New Orleans and surrounding areas. The shop was always full of conversation, laughter and of course GOLF. We shared our and our clients joys, victories and sometime sadness. The Clip Joint was a New Orleans institution as was Tommy Arbon!!! Much love and sympathy to Sandra and Michael.

I just learned about the passing of my very good friend Tommy today (8/7/2024). Tommy started cutting my hair since I moved in New Orleans in 2007. I last saw him last June 2024. Through all these years, we became really good friends. He told me stories about his half Italian Filipino dad born in the Philippines, his stories about his Filipino uncles and his loved for Filipino food cooked by his late dad. He was the one who encouraged me to play golf and even gave me a bag of old golf...

I will miss Tommy talking LSU &Saints sports while he was cutting my hair, God bless !

I met Tommy about 9 years ago when I was living in the warehouse district and looking for a new person to cut my hair. I walked into Clip Joint, an asked Tommy if he had time to cut my hair ! he said no problem. Give me 20 minutes and I´ll fit you in. The rest is history. Tommy was a master of his art!! Every three weeks like clockwork I would go see Tommy for a haircut even when I moved to The North Shore, I would still make my way to Clip Joint. Tommy was a good person, friend and quite a...

Tommy was a great man. I haven't let another barber cut my hair for over 15 years; I wouldn't even think of it. He was a great barber, but an even better person. His personality is unmatched and I will truly miss him as a friend. Fun fact, he cut my grandfather's hair for many years before we even realized the connection. My grandfather died several years ago and Tommy always made time to remind me about his fond memories and to ask about my grandmother. Tommy, I will miss you my friend!

Tommy cut my hair for 40 years. He was a great barber but a better friend. He always was in good spirits and had a kind word or joke to share. God Bless him and his family.

Tommy was my barber for fifty plus years. Always looked forward to seeing him. We always football no matter the time of the year. Tommy was always cheerful and welcoming. He called me "B" and I always got a chuckle out of that as no one else ever did. It was Tommy´s unique way of making one feel special. RIP my friend. B.

A man I respected and laughed with on many occasions.
