I went to St Igmatius grade school with Tom, always fun to be with and we had a great time dancing what a warm and friendly person. Life moves on and we didn't keep in touch so sorry about that.. I moved to Florida a few years ago but I still get the St Ignatius paper and was saddened to hear about Tom's passing. My condolences to the family of my long ago friend Tom Assad

I had the pleasure of working with Tom for a short period of time in my late teens, early 20s when my actual business career began, I’m now 68. I do remember him well to this day as a classy dresser and huge personality.. and what a smile... always always always made me laugh. I left that company and never saw or spoke to him again.. over 40 years... but never forgot him...gave him a thought every once in a while and still laughed...I cried when I saw his obituary....RIP Tom

We laughed ‘til we cried on many occasions in the company of Tom and Barbara. Tom was a messenger of joy and laughter who delighted in bringing those qualities wherever he went and to whomever he touched. He had an unforgettable presence and will be missed by all whose lives he came to know. May his memory be eternal!

Tom will be missed greatly. Leaving us with many memories that we can just sit back and laugh. From playing drums, to sitting at my table playing catch phrase, laughing, as he would crack himself up while we waited for clues from him. Never a dull moment with Tom. I had the Great pleasure in knowing Tom for over 30 years. Dinners and game nite will never be the same. Tom was a Great Man just like his Dad.
