Holyoke- Thomas J. Aubuchon, 59, died on August 31, 2023 at Holyoke Medical Center after a short illness. Thomas was born on November 29, 1963, the youngest son of the late Roger and Catherine (Healey) Aubuchon and was a resident of Chicopee for most of his life. He attended Chicopee schools and was a longtime participant in programs at Sunshine Village in Chicopee. He especially enjoyed his years working in the workshop program and took great pride in his accomplishments. He also enjoyed arts and crafts and other fun activities with his friends at Sunshine Village. Tom is survived by his brother Michael Aubuchon, of Chicopee, his uncles Paul, Gerard (Connie), Robert (Diane), and Deacon Ronald (Alice) Aubuchon, all of Leominster, MA, Ernest Aubuchon (Ellen) of Lunenberg, MA, and his aunts Regina Aubuchon, of Leominster, and Ann C. Griswold, of E. Longmeadow. He also leaves his dedicated caretakers, Phil and Diane Manzi, of Holyoke, a dear family friend Lauren Chicorka, as well as many cousins and extended family. In addition to his parents, Tom was also predeceased by his brothers, David, James, and Roger E. Aubuchon, his uncle Andre Aubuchon, aunts Jeanette and Iris Aubuchon, and his cousin Joseph Aubuchon. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all who cared for Tom and worked tirelessly in advocating for his benefit, especially Phil and Diane Manzi, Debbie Tryon and Marjorie Lehman of Viability, Inc., Linda Kelly, and the staff at Sunshine Village. Funeral services for Tom will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Corridan Funeral Home, 333 Springfield St.,, Chicopee, with a calling hour to be held from 10 to 11am, followed by a funeral home service at 11:00. Burial will immediately follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sunshine Village, 75 Litwin Ln., Chicopee, MA 01020.

Very sorry to hear about Tommy passing away. I worked with his dad Roger at the P.O.Tommy was always smiling when i would see him with his mom and dad.
