Not sure what to say?

I agree with Nancy--condolences from the WBL Class of 1980. I last saw Tom at a class reunion and he was a LOT of fun! I also worked with Ron at Ramsey County; hoping they're reunited and watching over Kim and the Auger family.

It was very sad day today when I heard about Tom's passing. My deepest condolences to the Auger family. As a neighbor growing up on Hedmanway, I think I spent more time at the Auger's than my own home. Thinking about Tom brought a flood of memories from our childhood days, from going up to Birch Bay Lodge, snowmobiling up at Kabetogama, the hockey games down at the lake. And who can forget the great stories from "Otis"!! I only wish I could have kept in touch with Tom and the rest of the...

Remembering Tom, and sending our condolences. From many of us from the graduating class of 1980.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Tom's passing. Even though I have not kept in touch with Tom, he was often in my thoughts and I truly hope he had a fulfilling and happy life. I have wonderful memories with Tom and the entire Auger family. His smile was infectious, and his fun-loving spirit will never be forgotten. I remember Mary Dee's delicious Sunday dinners (fried chicken was one of Tom's favorites back then), and the warm conversation from everyone in the Auger family was something I...

I was very saddened to hear the news of Tom's passing. I think what I will miss the most will be the stories. As a friend of the family for many years I was fortunate to be able to spend time at the Auger household at a very young age. I could always count on something funny happening whenever Tom was around and another great story could be told. Although we will not have any new stories, I think it speaks to his legacy that we'll be reminiscing about the old ones for many years to come. RIP...

Kim, my deepest sympathy. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Tom's family. Life does and will go on for you, Kim. Your fond memories and the love of friends and family will sustain and help carry you through this difficult time.

Jon Howe-This is Tom's sister. Thank you for your kind words. I will be sure to share this with my family.

I lived next door to Tom and Kim for close to nine years and I've really missed both of them since I moved away. Tom was a great guy who was quick to make me laugh and had some of the best stories to share over the fence. The thing I'll remember most about Tom will be his lawn. Tom had that lawn of his looking like the 8th fairway at Augusta National! My life will be forever richer for knowing him. My best to his wonderful wife, Kim and family. God bless.
