Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about cousin Tommy's death. We had a lot of fun at the old Austin place when we were kids. Jackie and I are the last of that generation. I am on face book if you want to contact me now.

Tom was a lovely neighbor. I did not know him well but I sure enjoyed our long conversations when we would meet out walking our dogs. He sure loved his Trapper. And made a point to stop & visit with our dogs. He had such a kind sweet spirit. He will be missed. Rest in peace.

I just learned that my dear friend Tommy has passed and am so sad. We were together at Ole Miss and played in the Band together. We stayed in touch over the many years afterward and often spoke of our youth and later our life events as time passed. I will miss him even though our paths only crossed a few times as the years went by. He was very special, smart, honest, funny, and more. I hope he's playing Solo Trumpet in Heaven's choir.

So sorry to learn of Tom Austin's passing. He was a wonderful lawyer and always worked with his client's best interests at heart. Best wishes to his family.

I am so sad to hear of Tom´s passing. For the 20 years I have been an attorney, he was an example of professional courtesy even when we were on opposite sides of an issue. His stories always brightened my day. I will miss him.

So sad to hear that he has passed. A Southern gentleman in the best sense. A friendly, generous colleague. For once, the good did not die young.

A good Lawyer and a fine southern gentleman! He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend ! Bill Adair

I am so saddened to hear of Tom's passing. Tom and I met in 1979, when I joined the Oilfield Products Group of Dresser Industries in Houston. He was a kind and articulate man with a great sense of humor. He had a wealth of great stories to tell, especially concerning the trips he took to the USSR in support of a rockbit plant Dresser was building in that country. Later, when he earned a law degree, I was one of his first clients; his first will probate was for my maternal grandmother,...
