Not sure what to say?

I had Tom as a teacher for 5 years, including two at Marshall Jr High and three at Wilson Hi (graduated 1963). Tom was the best. He was a fantastic teacher who truly loved what he did - and it showed in the classroom. Thank you, Mr Bagshaw, for your great humor, your teaching ability and for the wonderful years I was able to learn from you. You were a great influence on my life.

We have fond memories of Tom in our sailing days. Sitting in the cockpit of the boat telling war stories and drinking wine. We spent many happy weekends on our boats at Naples Landing in Belmont Shores. Dick always admired Tom's ability during the Ensenada Race to cook while under sail. He was a great guy. Dick, Sally, Bill and Dan Ludlow

I met Tom when I was a first year teacher at Wilson. Later, when I became a counselor, I had the privilege of working with Tom after he retired and did subsitute counseling. What a great mentor he was, but what was most compelling about Tom were 'his stories' and absolute terrific sense of humor. After a conversation with him, I always left with a smile. Tom, thank God you lived long enough to see the Red Sox finally break the curse! You will be missed.

Sincerely,

Joel...

Tom Bagshaw was my favorite teacher - EVER - and I graduated from Wilson in 1963. As I told his son Tom Jr. we took a poll at our 30 yr reunion in 1993, and he had the most votes as favorite teacher. What a great guy! Our best to his family ...

Jr,

I am so deeply saddend for you at this time. I hope that you find some peace in all this saddness that you are facing. You were a very good son to your dad and don't ever forget that.
