Thomas William Bailey Sr.

Mr. Thomas William Bailey, Sr., 82, died Saturday (April 6, 2013) at Baptist Village Retirement Communities after an extended illness. He was a native of Madison, FL, but he has lived most of his life in Waycross. He was formerly employed by Pantry Pride, Piggly Wiggly and Winn Dixie as a produce manager. He was a member of Brunel St. Church of God. He is the son of the late William Henry Bailey, Jr. and Addie Lois Odom Bailey. He is the husband of the late Jeanette Howard Bailey. Survivors include three sons, Thomas William Bailey, Jr. of Bremberton, WA, Robert D. Bailey (wife Brenda) of Lake City, FL, and Joey Bailey; one grandson, Ethan Bailey; four sisters, Josephine Lane, Betty Jean Scott, Weta Johnson and Loretta Baxter; one brothers, Henry Franklin Bailey; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday (April 8, 2013) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery.
