I have knownTom since kindergarten. He was always a really special friend to me. We became very close in high school and lost touch after high school for a couple of years but reconnected in 1981. He will always hold a special place in my heart. A couple of years ago we reconnected on facebook. I just found out last night he passed away and was extremely saddened to hear of his loss.
