My thoughts and prayers are with you. I never met Mr.Bata. But my Mom and Dad met each other while working at the Beta Shoe company. My father was Carol Eugene Monk my mom was Sandy Ratcliff. They met in the early 1970's. I know very little about them but I am thankful they both worked at the shoe factory and met. thank you. [email protected]

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Dear Mrs Bata: I met you and Mr Bata when you visited the British Bata Company in British Guyana. I work for the Company for 18 years before I moved to Canada.

My Condolonce to you and your family on the Loss of Mr Bata also for all that you have done for people all over the world.

Dear Mrs Bata I just heard about the sad death of Mr.Bata.Iwas a very young girl when you both visited Batapur Pakistan with your young son.My late father worked in Bata for nearly forty years till 1965,that was the best times of our childhood. We still cherish the memeroies and the beutiful christmas cards(pictures of your family) you sent us.God bless you and your family.Sarah Tayyab(daughter of Salahuddin manager rubber factory)

I just found out today that Mr. Bata was gone. I cannot express my shock and sadness. He was an amazing man and I will remember him forever. He was a man of grace and honor and I am better for having know him. He was also responsible for me meeting and marrying my wife.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
