Not sure what to say?

I happened to pass Tommy's accident before emergency crews arrived that day. I saw people standing by on their cell phones but I didn't see anyone hurt and was relieved to think everyone was ok. I later learned Tommy has passed away and immediately felt a deep sadness for someone I didn't know and more of a sadness knowing the hurt of those left behind. I too, like someone else wrote, felt a need to find out about this person who was a total stranger to me. For those of you who are his family...

To the family of Tommy,
I didn't know him very well but I remember him always hanging out with Patrice, my big sister. I feel for you Angel and Chad. Angel, you might remember me from Dolgeville, we went to school together. (I moved away in 1996.) I can't imagine your loss, but I will pray for you and your family! God Bless!

Gonna miss ridin wheelies with ya bro. You will be missed.

I just want to say thank you for the support in this time of need. I am glad all of you got the chance to meet and know my brother and now I realize how blessed I was to have known him all his life.

Dear family and friends of Tommy in Utah. I am deeply sorry for the sadness we feel for our loss. I loved him and will always remember how it felt to feel his warm smile and kind heart. He was a giving person, a compassionate person, and an honest, hard working man. I believe he will live on in our hearts and dreams. His life was special and affected people he met. I will always remember him being brave, and true. I want to thank you for your dear letters and support for our family. ...

I did not know Tommy but only for a day last June when he made an indelible impression with his presence in a training exercise. I knew then that the Salt Lake City office of Ironwood Communications had a gem. Not only will your professionalism be missed, but your compassion and willingness to help others are the lasting memories I will hold close to my heart. The entire DirecTV training fraternity mourns your loss and extends their hope that his memory will be a lasting legacy to all that...

I don't know Thomas at all, but I saw your memorial for him on Redwood Road and just felt such love from the people who cared enough to do something so wonderful, to honor their loved one. I don't know exactly what compelled me to research who Thomas was, and what happened to him--maybe the fact that we're the same age, which is much too young to die. Regardless of why, since seeing it, I had to find out more about Thomas, and I'm glad I was able to read his obituary and see how loved and...

my deepest sympathies go out to Tommy's family. none of you know me, yet my heart sinks for your loss. I wish you all the strength in the world in this time of such pain. I live very close to where Tommy passed away, i left my house shortly after i heard sirens that day. I know you dont want to know all of the details but i drove passed just as emergency krews arrived and as crazy as it may sound i got an overwhelming presence around me, i had never met tommy before in my life but something...

Tommy the employees that were fortunate enough to work with you will always be blessed to have had that time to spend with you. You will be missed and never forgotten. You are a kind person that made a big impression on many.
