I was very saddened to hear of Toms passing. He was an exceptional labor leader and a dear colleague to many of us during his years in Buffalo. He will be sorely missed.

Went to junior high school with Tom, at southside junior high in south Buffalo n.y.. we played in the talent show there. He was the drummer, I played the 6 string. I was so scared when the curtain opened, but Tom looked at me, and winked. He clicked his drum sticks to a 4 count beat, and didn't miss a beat! That was so Cool! Sorry I never kept in contact with him. He was a unique guy. To the family, I'm very sorry for your loss.

Tom, thank you for being in my life, you have been more than a coworker, a mentor and a guide, someone in whom I could confide. Thank you for believing in me and for your words of wisdom and encouragement.
Now that you are gone, I will miss you dearly, I will miss your guidance, but I will always follow the path that you have thought me. I will forever be grateful for all the knowledge you shared. God Bless your soul.
