COLONEL THOMAS PATRICK BELKOFER WAS COMMEMORATED TONIGHT BY HIS MOTHER AT THE 2016 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION BEFORE HER INTRODUCTION OF PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA.

SALUTE

WE SHALL REMEMBER

R E M E M B R A N C E

I hear your mother tonight at the DNC convention and hope you can too, Tom, because you would be so proud of her and our country. Thank you for your commitment, and I wish you were here.

Margo,

Tom was the only friend & soldier that I knew who passed during our war on terror. It was a shock when I 1st heard this...as I remember Tom during this Memorial Day weekend, it is as young vibrant Battery commanders at 3-29 FA, when we would share ideas on how to make our formations and battalion better while sitting in my office. He would even send an email asking how things were going for years after. Man, I miss his smile...for even on some of my tough days, he made it...

To the family and friends of Lt. Col. Thomas Belkofer:
Please accept my remembrance of Thomas on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Dear Tom's family:
Today we had the honor and privilege of visiting Arlington National Cemetery and visiting Tom's grave site. He was a wonderful person I knew while growing up in Rossford at Rossford High School. As a result, we wanted to take a moment to pay our respects and thank him for his sacrifice on behalf of our grateful nation. Most sincerely yours,
