Not sure what to say?

We love and miss Tom so much. Judy and family you are always in our thoughts and prayers. We love you

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering Thom today and always.

Judy, words cannot describe how much Chris and I are sorry for the loss of your loving Tom. Wish we could be with you to grieve together. May God grant you peace knowing Tom has now crossed the eternal finish line victorious. May he RIP and may you feel His peaceful presence. The Vacherie Church, Chris, and I will always be with you in our thoughts and prayers. Peace, Terry

Tom, You will be missed and our prayers for his family. RIP our friend...

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Mr. Tom will definitely be missed by the gang at the RV Park. All of them send their condolences.

We write this with a broken heart. I can't explain how people can become such good friends in a month, but when you are Tom and Judy's next door neighbors at Poche plantation it's really easy. One of the Nicest and friendliest couple we have met. It won't be the same. But God works in mysterious ways. God bless Judy and family.

OK, time for a re-do. Apparently I was so emotional with Tom's passing that I mistakenly inserted Brother John's name instead of Tom's in the last three sentences below. My appologies to the Bennett Family and especially to John. I know that Brother Tom is looking down from Heaven and is smiling.

Our hearts hurt so much for Judy and all his family. We love Tom like a brother and we will miss him so much. We love you Judy so much also. Tom will remain forever in our hearts and prayers and he will be missed Hugs and prayers to you all

Occasionally, I see a name in the obits that hits me like a solid punch in the gut. Today I suffered such a punch and it stays with me. Tom Bennett was a gifted gunsmith, but, more importantly a friend. I stumbled upon Tom & John's shop in Bloomingdale, folowed them to shops in Gobles, W. Main St. in Kzoo. Then John dropped out due to back problems and I followed Tom D&R Sporting Goods next door. Last time I saw Tom he was @Schanz's in Otsego. We had a long talk about guns and reloading...
