Dear Judy & family - what a privilege and honor it was for me to have Tom as a friend and to be his pastor. His well worn and read Bible that I used to preach his funeral message was a great witness to his faith in God. Everyone knew that he loved God, his church and family and was a huge asset to the ministry of Capital Baptist Church. Having worked with Tom for many years at Capital Blue Cross, I know that he was a man of integrity that was taken too soon. He often spoke with fondness of his family and we are saddened by the fact that he was unable to fully enjoy his retirement with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Tom Black was a hard-working, kind, considerate, and generous man. He epitomized professionalism and was a role model for many. He will be remembered fondly by everyone at Capital BlueCross. Our thoughts are with his family at this time of sorrow.
