Not sure what to say?

I was a close friend of Tom´s in two Army assignments, Indianapolis and Korea in the 80´s and we coached kids´ baseball together. He had a hilarious sense of humor and snuck up on people to become the life of any group. I think about him often and so wish he was still around. Very sad for Kyong and the boys. What a great man!

Tom Bombick was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met in my life. Not only did I work with him, but I also had the pleasure of carpooling with him for over 2 years. He always cared what was happening in my life and shared his family experiences with me in order to help me deal with lifes ups and downs. I will miss eating breakfast with him every morning at the New World Deli on I street and all of the great wisdom we discussed over eggs and sausage. And as one person...

Tom was a very dedicated manager/leader that loved to serve with great honor and distinction. My memory of Tom went back a few years ago when I was working with Stu Martin and the (Special Ops) team. He would come unannounced with gleam in his eyes. He would always have something humorous to say that would make me laugh every time. When ever I needed some additional support from the networking folks, he made it happen right away.

His dedication to his career, family and colleagues...

Tom was a friend and mentor for many years. When I first met Tom back in 1991/92, he was installing one of the first local area networks for ATF in the New York Regional Office at the World Trade Center. We worked long hours for many days to get things just right but still had time to see parts of NYC. Even after he was done and back home in VA, he would continue to followup throughout the days and weeks afterwards to ensure things were working just as he had left them. Tom was truly...

Tom was an associate of mine during the Treasury telecommunication (TCS)years. He was always a delightful person and a valuable asset to our efforts. He will be sorely missed. My prayers are with his family.

I had the pleasure to work with Tom on the Treasury telecommunications programs. He was a knowledgable, kind and generous person who will be greatly missed!

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had the honor to work for and with Tom for many years prior to my retirement. He was a special friend and American patriot. I never knew him to pass by anyone in uniform that he didn't acknowledge them. We spent many hours together which included 16 at work on 9-11 after which he drove me home by way of the Pentagon which choked both of us up. I treasure the time that I spent with him.

Dear "Mom', Eric, Jeff & Mark,
Tom was a good friend and co-worker. Over the past 10 years, he has been extremely supportive of me, we've shared many laughs and even a few tears. Tom was the key person to encourage me to pursue a Management position. He absolutely 'loved' his family and is one person I can say that was passionate about the work he did at ATF. I truly "Thank You" for sharing him with the ISD Family. May the wonderful memories you have bring you great comfort during this...

Tom and I worked together on the Treasury Communications Network. He was the manager for ATF and I was the manager for the Customs Service. We were kindred spirits, working together to make the best network possible. He was delightful to work with and he shall be missed by his friends and family.
