Not sure what to say?

The first person we ever met at Lake Texoma was Gene Bonenberger. What a wonderful, friendly man he was! He had a special way of making us feel welcome. We miss those sunny days at the lake with him but will always have fond memories. Our love to Norma and the family.

Gene and I were friends not only at Lucent/WE but also spent much time with Norma and family at Lake Texoma and their home. I will surely miss him. A true friend.

I worked with Gene in personnal and in the shop. He was a true friend.

Gene was one of the most knowledge-
able and caring individuals. I ap-
preciated his help with cars and boats. We enjoyed many laughs dur-ing 30 years at Western Electric and
AT&T. His smile was so genuine!

I worked with Gene for many years at Western Electric,(AT&T) We were also buddies at Lake Texoma and I know we will miss him when we are playing horseshoes.
Mary & James(Smitty) Smith

I worked for many years with Gene at Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent. In 1995 as a result of genealogy, I discovered that Gene's Mom had married my Uncle, Ralph Smith after the death of my Aunt Ola. At one of the pioneer luncheons I shared this with Gene. What a small world. We will all miss Gene, but have many fond memories.
