Thomas "Tom" L. Bostwick, of Flint, age 67, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence. Funeral service will
be held 11am Monday, March 25, 2013 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Road, Flint, Pastor Jack Dowden officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church or American Diabetes Association. Visitation 5-8pm Saturday and 1-3pm and 5-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Masonic Service will be held 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Bostwick will be at the church 10am Monday until the time of the service. Tom was born in Flint on April 20, 1945. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School, Class of 1963. On March 26, 1994, he married Annie L. Molpus in Flint. Tom was employed with General Motors for 43 years,
retiring as a safety engineer. He was a very active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Past Master of Flint Masonic Lodge #23, GM Retired Salary Association. He loved spending
time with his family, especially
his grandchildren. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing "Up North" and all sports, especially the Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and the Michigan Wolverines. Tom always enjoyed telling jokes and using 50 cent words. Surviving are wife, Annie; children, Todd Bostwick and wife Ann Giese of Grand Blanc, Michael and wife Cory Bostwick of Swartz Creek, Brian and wife Lisa Bostwick
of Flint, Kevin and wife Lisa Gaby of Burton, David and
Susan Gaby of Flint; grandchildren, Tori, Sarah, Ciara, Trevor, Sedrick, Aislynn, Emma, Dominic, Janelle, Hannah and Darwin; sister, Janice and husband
Michael Hammond of Swartz Creek; nieces and nephews, Kimberly and Alan Hammond. He was preceded in death by his parents, Darwin and Mildred Bostwick and his first wife, Janet E. Dunham. Your condolences may be shared with the family at

Annie, so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I just heard about it. Tom was a wonderful kind man that definitely left a beautiful impact on many people.

Condolences for your loss. I worked with Tom for several years, enjoyed many a good laugh and story with him. We would occasionally have a fish-fry at work, and Tom enjoyed them more than anyone, I believe. Remember how happy he was during the courtship with you, Annie. Truly a Family Man.
