Hello! My name is Amy Brooks and I am Tom Brook's daughter. I was not even aware of this Guest Book until my Aunt Jean (my dad's sister) sent this note to me. I want to first express my deep sympathies to the Brooks family. I knew Mr. Brooks in a couple of ways. He was my phys. ed. teacher at Brookridge for 3 years. He was also one of the guys my dad went golfing with. My father was a teacher at Wilbur Wright Jr. High as was one of his best friends Mr. Redmon. So, it was not unusual for the guys to golf in the summer. I haven't had any contact with these men since my father passed, but I remember them fondly. It has been over 20 years, but I still...

Mr. Brooks was my Fifth grade teacher from 1988-1989. He was a very thoughtful, supportive and loving teacher. He would constantly make us all laugh and spoiled us to the max. I will never forget his singing, his smile and his voortmer windmill cookies that he shared with us all the time! He was a great man and a great teacher. He was truly the best teacher out there and it was a pleasure being his student. I believe that myself and a couple of my other fellow classmates would say that we had...

"Brooks" was a very dear friend of mine. He always had a kind word and a hug whenever I saw him. The last time being the Friday before he passed. I am very saddened at the sudden death of my friend. I will miss him dearly. My heartfelt sympathy to his family.
