To the family and friends of Master Sgt. Thomas Bruner:
I previously served with Bruner during my time with the 100th Division in Owensboro, but was unaware of his passing until recently. We are reading the names of the fallen at a memorial ceremony on Veterans Day at NKU and I came across his name. He was a good soldier and a great man and I am honored to have served with him. May God watch over him and his family.

Kind regards,
Will Peveler

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,

And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...

Thomas gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."
