Thomas James Burns

As I look at this, I just cannot imagine life without Dr. Burns in it. To know him was to know what a heart he had for helping people. Even though this was his occupation, it was really his ministry. He truly had no other motive than to help people help themselves! One of the best of the best, without a doubt! Understood ... my dear ... (friend, family, boss, advisor, etc.) ... understood :(

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Burns passing. He was truly a wonderful person. He will be greatly missed.

I had the pleasure of Tom supervising me for 10 years while I worked at Indian Path Pavilion. I have told several others people although I do not know if I told him personally but he was the best supervisor anyone could have. He demonstrated a great ability in supporting me in clinical decisions in a very gentle way but empowered me pursue interests that I had at work. He was instrumental in modeling what a true humanitarian looks like. I feel so lucky to know Tom and Martha and I can´t...
