Not sure what to say?

As a youngster I spent time at the Bay City Boys Club. All of my memories of Tom are good. He was a thoughtful, caring man with the right values and he set a great example for kids that needed good role models.

My condolences to family and friends, I'm sure you will miss him.

Rachel and family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Tom was a great person who would take time to listen to anyone and help anyone at any time. I was one of the fortunate people to know Tom personally and he was an outstanding man. I enjoyed working with Tom at the Boys and Girls Club of Bay County in the past, but I will always keep Tom in my prayers and thoughts. And I know that they welcomed Tom above with open arms, he was a very special person. My condolences to the family.

This is a big loss for the guys in the white hats. Tom Burt was as giving and kind a soul as I have ever crossed paths with. This is not only a huge loss for his family but for the kids out there who sadly may have needed him more. RIP.

Rachel and Family - I am so sorry to read about Tom's death in the Bay City Times today. I worked with Tom in the early 70's at the Boys & Girls Club in Bay City. I was the office secretary. He was always such a nice man. I will be keeping you and your families in my thoughts and prayers. My sincere sympathies to all of you. Barb Szczesniak
