Thomas Edward Busch Sr.

My wife Diane and I wish to express our condolences to the family of Tom and Phyllis Busch. Tom and his sister Dorothy were our best buddies while my sister Kathleen and I were growing up in Portland. Tom taught me all about fishing (and a few other things) during the great summers our families would spend together in a cabin near Rhododendron. As our life paths diverged we didn't see much of Tom and Phyllis, but they were always in our thoughts.

Jere and I wish to send our condolences to to all of the Busch family in the loss of their father and grandfather. Jere's parents, grandparents and many other relatives have purchased furniture there and we still own some of the pieces and display it proudly in our home. His Aunt Millie lived in one of the apartments that was above the furniture store. What a history and legacy Tom Sr. has left behind for his family, friends and Oregon City.God bless each and everyone of one of you.

Busch Furniture was the store we bought our first pieces of furniture from after buying our first home in Oregon City. After that, when ever we needed something it was "lets check with Tom Busch", and would always come away feeling good about the purchase. We always felt like something more than just a customer and I know it came from Tom Sr.
