May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. My prayers and thoughts are with the Family

With sympathy from the Byrne family. My dad, Joe Byrne, worked with Mr. Cahill at O’Hare. My dad passed away in 1999. My mom still resides in California in failing health, so I am sending this note on her behalf. I have forwarded a copy of the obituary to her. Our condolences to the Cahill family.

To the entire Cahill Clan:

Your Dad (Big Tom) will be with you forever in your humor, your smile and your kindness. His heart and personality always made me feel like a million bucks. We hope you can all make the Mass that we will have him remembered at - Old St Pats Church, Chicago, September 16, 2007. Our prayers and love to you all. God Bless.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. As one who worked with Tom at O'Hare, we had a lot of respect for each other. He was a good man.

Meg and Family,
Some would say the amount of time that I've spent with Gramps would not qualify me as a person who knew him very well. Besides a game of pool we shared a few years ago (I still owe him that fin) my interaction with him was brief. It was through Meg's retelling of his stories that I really knew the man. The stories were bountiful and always a riot to listen to.
Meg, because of you I know Gramps and I'm really glad I do. Not only because of the great stories he had, but...

Kathleen, Meaghan and family, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved father and grandfather. I know he was a source of great joy and strength for you both and for all your family. Take comfort in all the great memories and the laughter that you all shared.
