Not sure what to say?

While Tom was married to Nancy Campbell, her father, A WOOD TV executive, enjoyed discussing topics with us because Tom and I were philosophy majors at GVSU and were always arguing about one thing or another (which is all philosophy students "do"). One day (1969) Mr. Campbell asked us to help him out on a project at home, replacing his ribbon driveway. He offered to pay us to spread concrete in the areas where he had removed the old driveway concrete (two ribbons about 60 feet long). Being...

I was sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I enjoyed playing tennis with him at IVTC over the years and having many interesting and entertaining discussions with him about the law and life. Jackie McCann

Stacey here again. I forgot to mention - please join us on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:30am for a Celebration of Life at Atwater in the Park for Dad. We hope you can make it.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. My brother and I read your sentiments on the phone together yesterday and it was so nice to hear from you.

Stacey & Tom Campbell

For the family, the Feb 1st entry was from Jon Woodson. Tom was a longtime childhood friend, frat brother, and a special friend.

Dear Campbell Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the death of Tom. We worked together at Juvi and I could always plan on his wit and a great discussion on those late night shifts. My deepest sympathy.

Dear Campbell Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Tom's death. We worked together at Juvi and I will always remember his caring nature and great sense of humor.

Tom and I were best friends at Grand Valley where we both studied Philosophy. Gregarious, and serious, compassionate and tough minded, Tom's wonderful sense of humor made him a delight to be with. Tom has left his mark in this world in a very positive way. My condolences to Tom's family and all the many others who were lucky to know him.

God bless the Campbell family...so often we forget just how precious life really is...may family and friends bring comfort and support and good memories. Tom might be gone, but not forgotten. He will be missed.
