Not sure what to say?

Tom sang O´Danny Boy on Saint Patrick´s day at a party at University and I have never heard anyone sing which such quality and emotion. There wasn´t a dry eye in the place. Remembering him with great fondness. Rex Wells. Fellow student at Catholic University.

Helen -- Phil, Audrey and I extend our deepest sympathies to you. Your brother sounds like an amazing man and we hope that you will find great comfort in all your memories.

I worked with Tom at Jenkins Hill Saloon in the 80's. Since then, I have always thought fondly of him anytime "Ode to Autumn" is mentioned in the English classes I teach. He could recite that poem anytime, without hesitation, and I often asked him to to do so. He was a fun co-worker and a very interesting person to know. My heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.

Our deepest sympathy to Tom's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
I was one of his fraternity brothers in college and my wife, Roberta (Driscoll), also knew Tom at Catholic University.
He could find the humor in just about anything and had a great voice, outdoing Bing Crosby with his renditions of "White Christmas" and "Danny Boy."
The summer after our senior year, Tom and I worked together at a novelty supply warehouse in Maryland.
The job entailed...

I've known Tom through work for nearly 30 years. He cut a wide swath throughout CRS, of people who liked and admired him, worked with him, and relied on his expertise and generous willingness to share it. He worked in my section on a detail at one time. We never stopped thinking of him as one of us. I so enjoyed hearing him talk with pride about his wife and sons. Having been in his Toastmasters group for awhile, I was familiar with his wonderful delivery. With his beautiful voice and...

My wife Lyn and I would like to offer our condolences to all of Tom's family. We attended college together at Catholic University, and spent many a memorable day and evening with Tom, whom we viewed as the truest of friends. His renditions of Bing Crosby tunes will stay with us always (I particularly enjoyed getting free beverages as a result of his vocal talents!!). I also lived with Tom for a short time after college in "the Thicket", and have many interesting memories of those times as...

In all the times working with Tom in Toastmasters and helping him with data questions, he never missed an opportunity to encourage others and lighten the situation with a bit of humor. I will miss our conversations and his insight.

My deepest condolences to you on Tom's death. He was a wonderful colleague who was not only a consummate professional but also a terrific person. His wit and erudition always brightened any room he entered. I and my colleagues miss him and will for a long, long time.
