H hi I was a student of his and the day after Christmas I couldn't help but think about him today and I just wanted to share with you that he was a great man and and thank you for allowing him to be in my life by

I was very surprised and saddened to hear of Tom's sudden death. Much to young. Tom helped me with my career and often contacted me to see how I was doing. Very generous, caring person. My prayers go out to the family.

What a huge loss to the marine industry community. Tom assisted several of my friends, and myself, on occasion with placements. He was truly a friend to many, will be missed by all.

I am very surprised and saddened to hear of Tom's death. I can thank Tom for not only helping me on my way with my professional career, but also for his sincere caring and friendship.

I learned of Mr.Cassidy's passing through a brief mention (with a link) in an online daily marine trade publication I receive. I had not heard of him or his company ever before. However, after reading his obituary, I realize I missed knowing a very fine man. My condolences to all of you whom he so obviously touched in a such a powerfully wonderful way throughout his life. My prayers are with you all.
