Not sure what to say?

Coach Cecchini did a remarkable job with turning Xavier´s football program around in 1973 only to be shortchanged by Fr. Mulligan. That season was special. He was gracious in my attempt to walk-on the prior spring. His speaking at a club football banquet was also special. Just a really good guy. Fond memories. May he rest in peace.

I'm now 68, and somebody once asked me which coach did I respect the most and enjoy playing for. It was Tom Cecchini at Tulane Univ. who somehow got in my head and he taught me what he knew. I benefited from that relationship, as did the whole defense. He was a gentleman also! I did not know he passed. RIP coach! John Ammerman

Loved his efforts at XU

I treasured his time coaching football at XU and his returning speech to the club team

My best friend at Pershing High School. He and his family were the best of people. Momma and Dad C. were always there with warm hearts and welcoming into their home. Very sad that two wonderful people such as Tom and Lynn had such a short time to be with us. God bless them both. Denny and Jolene Shrake

We were family and his parents were Auntie Clem and Uncle Geno my whole life. Tom and his sister...
