I wasn't sure if Tom was your husband until I saw your name and your children's in the STAR obituary. I, too, lost my father when he died at the age of 44 and I was 12. It was 3 weeks before Christmas and obviously that Christmas and future holidays as well as day by day living was very painful for my mom, my younger siblings and me.
