Not sure what to say?

Dear Bonnie, Sister Clark,
The instructions for sending this message says words like this, "If you have trouble finding the right words,try.."
I find words just cannot say what is in our hearts when it comes to how we feel about Tom and you. Steven has lost a most wonderful true friend with the passing of Tom. We feel your great loss with much sympathy. The world to so many will never be the same. Thanks to you and your sweetheart for your Christ-like lives and love. Elder John...

Dear Bonnie, Jonathan, and family,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Tom. He was always very kind to me and I have fond memories of him. I know he touched the lives of all he met. He was just that kind of man. I pray that you will find comfort and peace through this time of adjustment and grief.

Bonnie and family,
We were surprised to hear of Tom's passing. He will be deeply missed by all of us who hold a special place in our hearts for his memory. A very helpful and compassionate personality. You all have our most sincere love and condolence
Don and Lois Rawlinson.

Tom and I were fellow teachers in the 60s at the Oregon School for the Deaf. He was an amazing teacher. His students were so enthralled by his lessons they were quite surprised to be told that the class period was finished. They made the sign "fast time" which was a way of saying that the time had flown by. Fifty years have flown by since I first met Tom but the friendship we felt is still new and vibrant.

Dearest Bonnie:
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear companion and best freind. I can't think of the Clarks without thinking of both of you. We loved the time you spent in Chapel Hill and appreciated all you contributed to the church here. I fondly remember the "Seagul Award" you were given when you finished the doctorate at UNC.

Bonnie aka "Grandma":

You and "grandpa" of the deaf branch back in DC were always called our grandma, grandpa, some mom and dad to them all. I sure will miss Tom so much!! You both have given me so much pilar of strength to move on without Patrick in my life. I should have LISTENED to you both back in the day! You and Tom's love for me was the most amazing family like I ever seen. Thanks for what you both have served in our DC mission area. I am glad I had the chance to talk to Tom...

Bonnie
Sorry for the Loss of Tom, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

How wonderfully lucky we've all been to have had that man in our lives. The energy, the drive, the humor, the leadership ability, and the many ways he made you feel of value, these are the things I'll always remember of Tom. And that all of those were enhanced by his choice of a life-mate. I'll never forget one of the stories Tom told about walking to campus with Bonnie. His energy (here we go again) was such that, as they were walking, he'd lap her every few yards by walking around her...

Bonnie,
Doug and I will always remember that lovely picnic dinner in your backyard all those years ago when we first got to know you. From that moment on, we loved you both and appreciated you and Tom for your unconditional love to our family. You are an amazing couple. We love your wonderful example of faith, service and kindness to others. You have been and will continue to be in our prayers. Love,
