Tom was probably my best friend in Japan. We had gone to minewarfare school together and shared the teaching experience in Japan and trips with the students in the Tara Christian Community Center School. Sorry to here of his passing. Tom Efland, Irmo Sc.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. He was a sweet and good man, wonderful neighbor, He Loved my kids like they were his own grandkids! I remember a few times we stand outside and he would tell me about all the projects he worked worked on and built with such passion, anytime he saw my kids playing outside he stand there with them watching play basketball and chatting with us, when he bought extra fruit he would always share and offer my kids some, and that's how my kids...

Tom was my best friend from high school. He was the Godfather of my daughter. While I was not able to visit him in person in his last days, we talked often and it is hard to accept he has passed on but I know he won't have to suffer anymore.My deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones. They all know, as I do, that he was one of a kind and a very special one.
