My Uncle Tom was a wonderful, loving influence in my life. He was the "Laurel" to my dad's "Hardy." We shared jokes and loved to tease each other. He was kind and wise. He truly cared about what I was doing and how I was feeling. He always welcomed me with open arms and a warm hug. He made me feel special.
