Of Buffalo and New York City, October 12, 2017. Beloved husband of Patricia M. Peacock, of East Aurora; son of the late Edward Cecil and Edna Kinley Cluney; dear brother of John C. (Ev), Donna H. Cluney and the late James A. Cluney; uncle of Lawrence Eich, Jeremy Eich, John Charles Cluney, Jr., Carrie Lynn Taylor; great-uncle of Dyami Cluney. All are invited to a Memorial Service at D. LAWRENCE GINNANE FUNERAL HOME, 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, Saturday (October 28) at 12 noon. Memorial contributions to World Vision at www.worldvision.com are preferred. Tom was a retired Advanced Placement English teacher for NYC Public Schools, with an earned BA in philosophy and a Master's degree in English literature from Canisius College. His late father, Edward Cecil Cluney, was District Manager of Textile Workers Union of America.

Tom and I were coworkers and friends at Gateway treatment center. I didn´t realize he had passed... sad. Patricia, I remember you as well.

Tom and I were classmates at St. Joe's in the early 60's. We shared a common interest in English Lit and theatre and participated in two of the school plays', Brother Orchid and Arsenic and Old Lace. Our teacher, Tom Tell who was also the Drama Coach took an interest in us and encouraged our participation.
